Acelera Studios

Privacy notice

How we handle personal data when we contact businesses about our work. Last updated 2026-08-07.

Who we are

Acelera Consultants, LLC, trading as Acelera Studios, is a Florida limited liability company, document number L26000191362, formed 2026-04-03, with its registered address at 158 NW 152 Avenue, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028, USA.

We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Contact: privacy@acelerastudios.com

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to.

Although the controller is established in the United States, UK GDPR applies extraterritorially to this processing because the outreach specifically targets people in London in connection with an offer of services in the UK.

What this notice covers

This covers only our marketing contacts — the businesses we approach about our cinematic walkthrough films. If you become a client, a separate notice covers that relationship.

Why you are hearing from us

You are receiving, or have received, an email from us because you are named as a business contact for a company that operates short-let or serviced accommodation, and we believe our service is relevant to that business.

What personal data we hold

DataWhy
Your name and job roleTo address you correctly and confirm you are the relevant contact — only where your company has published them
Your business email addressTo contact you
Your company's name and registration numberTo confirm we are contacting an incorporated business, not an individual or sole trader
The web address we found your details on, and the date we collected themSo that if you ask us where we got your details, we can tell you precisely
A record of any reply, opt-out or request you makeTo respect your wishes, and to be able to show that we did

We do not hold, collect, buy or infer anything else. No personal (non-work) contact details. No special category data. No financial data. No behavioural profile.

Where we got your data

From publicly available sources: your company's own website, property-management or short-let listing sites where your company publishes a business contact, and the Companies House register.

We record the exact source and the date for every contact. We do not buy or rent marketing lists, we do not scrape contact details, and we do not use contact-enrichment or data-broker services.

Our lawful basis

Legitimate interests — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Our legitimate interest is finding and approaching businesses that would benefit from our service.

Before contacting anyone we completed a written Legitimate Interest Assessment, weighing our interest against your rights. In short, we concluded the balance is fair because we contact you only in your professional capacity, at an address your company chose to publish, about a service relevant to your business; we hold the minimum data needed; we do not track or profile you; our volume is deliberately very low; and you can stop us instantly and permanently.

You are entitled to a copy of that assessment on request. Ask at privacy@acelerastudios.com.

What we do not do

We want to be specific, because these are the things people reasonably worry about.

How long we keep it

SituationRetention
You opt out, or ask us to stop We keep only your email address on a permanent suppression list, so we can be certain never to contact you again. That is the minimum necessary to honour your objection. Everything else is deleted.
You do not respond Prospect records are deleted within 12 months after last contact.
You reply and we start a conversation Prospect records are kept for the conversation and deleted within 12 months after last contact, unless you become a client and a different notice applies.
You ask us to erase your data Erased promptly — see below.

We keep the suppression entry even after erasure, because deleting it would risk contacting you again. If you would rather we deleted that too, tell us and we will, and we will explain the consequence.

Who else processes your data

These act on our instructions under written data-processing terms. We add processors only where necessary, and we will update this notice if that changes. Where any transfer outside the UK is involved, it is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

The quickest way to stop hearing from us

Reply to any email from us with the word STOP. That is enough. No confirmation step, no login, no form, no "are you sure?". We action it the same day and you will not hear from us again.

Our emails are currently sent by hand and do not contain an unsubscribe link — replying is the mechanism, and it is the only one we claim. If that changes and we begin including a one-click unsubscribe link, we will update this page first.

Or email privacy@acelerastudios.com and say so in any words you like.

How to exercise the other rights

Email privacy@acelerastudios.com. We respond within one calendar month. We do not charge, and we will not ask you to justify the request.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at privacy@acelerastudios.com — we would rather fix it.

You also have the right to complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at any time, without contacting us first.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle marketing contact data, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
